  • Objectives

    Read and understand electrical schematics

    Communicate effectively with appropriate departments/individuals

    Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus and components. Utilize test equipment, hand tools, and personal knowledge to determine the root cause of issues

    Repair/replace defective and damaged parts. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on various electrical systems

    New installations

  • Competencies

    Knowledge of local and national electrical code

    AC motor troubleshooting preferred

    Electrical controls maintenance and repair proficiency preferred

    Ability to think logically, analytically and solve problems

    Ability to function in the fast-paced environment


  • Education and Experience

    Vo tech, High school diploma, or GED preferred

    5+ years’ work experience in the electrical field preferred


  • Physical Requirements

    Stand, walk bend for extended periods of times
